Clarence F. Holmes Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament
The Members of the Clarence F. Holmes/Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Memorial Scholarship Fund (a 501(c)3) Organization) welcome you to its annual Scholarship Fundraiser. The Clarence F. Holmes Memorial Scholarship is named in memory of renowned Denver Dentist and member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Dr. Clarence Holmes. In its more than 50 years of community service and academic funding, hundreds of students have been afforded the opportunity to attend colleges and universities around the country.
Essay Contest & Talent Hunt
Two of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s Nationally Mandated Programs are typically sponsored by the Holmes/Omega Foundation. Local high school participants in the International Essay Contest and the Talent Hunt programs are given cash awards for their participation. There have been a number of our local winners in the Essay Contest and Talent Hunt program who have competed and won on a regional and national level. The Holmes/Omega Scholarship Foundation provides the funding to pay for the transportation, lodging, and food expenses associated with having contestants travel to and perform at the regional and national venues.
Scholarship Awards Reception
The Holmes/Omega Scholarship Foundation hosts an annual Scholarship Award Reception to give public recognition to the Holmes/Omega Scholars. The awards reception is held at our annual golf tournament. The next golf tournament will be Friday June 21, 2024 at The Courses at Hyland Hills located at 9650 North Sheridan Blvd, Westminster, CO 80031.
